David’s son, Jose Luis Hernandez, instead of selling the property, kept it in the family,
kept the family legacy, and built the condos as are seen today. Jose commissioned Alfredo Pardo Labastida, a 25 year local resident and architect
to design a smaller building using the best quality materials with Mexican colonial touches that would blend best into the neighborhood.
